What is Dailies?

Dailies creates regularly scheduled film anthologies based on common themes. The work we produce is always screened in front of a live audience. We exists as a community where filmmakers can pool resources to make films outside the profit motive. If we have a unifying ambition, it is to make a positive impact on the world through art.

We encourage teamwork, creative ideas and new thinking.

We are a community
We exist so filmmakers can collaborate and strengthen the skills that drive Atlanta’s ever-growing entertainment industry. We create a platform where filmmakers can take risks and blueprint ideas outside of the profit motive.

• We are one of Atlanta’s a creative institutions In that pursuit, we follow the example set by arts organizations that have already defined the city’s creative spirit such as Write Club, Living Walls and Dad’s Garage Theatre.

• We are an informal incubator We will attract the attention of media buyers and investors to preview the work of filmmakers. We will exist as a platform for filmmakers to create a body of short films through which they can express multiple voices, unrestrained by the formate of the feature.

• We are a professional organization. We attract top emerging talent. We limit internal drama. We respect the time of our participants. We champion each other’s successes.
